Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Ohio lies just within the city limits of Cleveland and is the largest airport in the state. It was the first municipally owned airport in the United States. It has been the site of many other airport firsts: the first air traffic control tower, ground to air radio control and the first airfield lighting system, all in 1930, and the first U.S. airport to be directly connected to a local or regional rail transit system, in 1968.  

Scope of Services

Developed the budget estimates and schedules. Encompasses 117 projects including a new runway with associated taxiways, a runway extension, a new administration facility, a centralized deicing facility, terminal and concourse rehabilitations and expansions, a new access roadway system, and other related infrastructure projects.  Budget cost estimates and schedules developed served as the baseline for the program.  90% definitive check estimates on certain key projects of the Program such as the New Runway 5L-23R, Abram Creek Relocation and Brook Park Road Relocation to name a few.  Provided on-site estimating and scheduling support to handle A/E submittal estimate reviews, change order evaluations, contractor change order negotiation support, liquidated damage assessments, bid reviews, contract status report updating, master schedule maintenance, contract schedule updates, time impact analysis, claims management support, risk based contingency analysis, and other project control functions.
